2010 Season -- Week 9 -- November 8, 2010 -- Back to TSL History
It's never over until its over. That was a message from an old man on Sunday afternoon as he dashed the hopes of Cardinal fans everywhere.
Lost in the Air
The Cardinals are lost. Really lost. Sure they're only one game out of first place in their division, but consider the other three teams are. Exactly.
Only the bumbling Cardinals could change their starting QB more than your little brother changes his underwear and expect to win. Who else would give up a 14-point fourth quarter lead to a 2-5 team with a 41 year old grandfather of a QB and lose in overtime? That's right, the Cardinals. 225 total yards for the Cards to the Vikings 507. Lucky for the Cardinals, their special teams kept them in the game with a couple TDs.
Campe80 was sitting on the edge of his seat for the entire game and ultimately ended up falling off in exhiliriation as he moves on to Week 10 with RikOwens.
Welcome to the NFL Pete Carroll
Yep, Pete Carroll got first hand experience of just how good the New York football Giants are. Within the first few minutes of the game, it got ugly. 35-0 at the half and a final score of 41-7 showed that the Giants are still among the elite in the NFC and are in position for a playoff run in the tough NFC East.
RikOwens' selection was good enough to move him through to Week 10 with another chance to score a cool grand just before Christmas.
